    Amazing!

    Impressive! The slueses were open when we were there and it was quite spectacular to see. Drive around the dam was worth doing. Everything clean and well maintained.

    Lovely drive and view points around the dam. Clearly marked and well maintained . Very clean and it was quiet when I was there so that was great.

    Beautiful view

    Parking areas on both sides of the wall. You can walk or drive over the wall. Take great pictures of the beautiful views of the dam, the dam wall and the rocky sites next to the road.

    Impressive biggest man made dam in SA

    If you are driving through to PE or Port Alfred Nice place to stop over. Small and quaint good to see human engineering at work.

    An honour to see the Gariep Dam
