National Trust - Max Gate

There were guided tours in some rooms, but when we entered the National Trust property, we were given a very detailed guide. Sitting down in several different rooms, reading everything about Thomas Hardy and the house, there is no tea room, the loft room is open, and there are fairly steep stairs.

Max Gate is located in the eastern suburbs of Dorchester and is a building designed by Hardy himself (Hardy was trained by professional architects).
