Terracotta army-just for a tick in UNESCOlist

Visiting terracotta army was the biggest disappointment of the summer for a few reasons: 1. Herds of tourists and terrible heat this July 2. Overpriced (for a hall of statues... ) Well, I could still recommend to go there to those, who don't have overestimated expectations and NOT during summer holidays. My tour included a visit to Huaqing palace in the morning which I liked better (all pictures but the first are from that site), even had some time to hike the "mountain". However, if you prepare in advance and learn a bit about Xian's incident, you can see a play of the same name there at the Scenic spot (I missed it because I didn't prepare well enough in advance and regretted afterwards) #terracottaarmy #xian
