A small tree grows in the center of the width of the waterfall overlooking, and there is a waterfall only at the left end. Even in heavy rain, there is only a full waterfall width on the left side. Before the power plant intake was opened in the swamp, water was flowing all over the width of the waterfall overlooking. There was only a little on the right side of a small tree that had no flow.
Visited by car during consecutive holidays. The water was brown and muddy, probably because it was heavy rain upstream, but I enjoyed the dynamic flow of the waterfall with a large amount of water. There are two waterfalls, so depending on your view, it looks like Niagara's Canada Falls and American Falls.
The best time to see it was the flood season in spring and the autumn leaves, but the waterfall that flows quietly when the amount of water is small in summer was also nice. Please note that the walking paths are rough in some places. Insect repellent is essential from early summer to autumn. Access is difficult because snow is not removed in winter.
It was a wonderful landscape I had never seen before.

Do you know "Chidorigataki"? It is located in Takinoue Park. There is Chidori Bridge, which is a few minutes walk from the parking lot of the park on the walking course, and you can visit it from here, but unlike ordinary waterfalls, the ground is exposed and you can feel the unusual strength. It was the time of autumn leaves, so I was able to see the scenery that was not always available.
Nice stop-by if you visit Yubari
I stopped by because I went to buy melon in Yubari. There was nobody in the park so I could just hang around freely. The fall was pretty nice.
I can't see the real thing anymore.

It was snowing a lot.
