[Scenery] It is generally dry until it rains in the north and then floods. Interesting part of the terrain and geology of the area
[Fun] If you are lucky, you will also see gazelles, rock rabbits and vultures/eagles. Make sure you have a hat, good walking shoes/boots and plenty of water. It may get hot.
To hike, start at Midreshet Ben Gurion, which belongs to Zin Valley. It was very dry when I went there, there was no water in the river, and I had to lead it from the north. The mountains here are spectacular and beautiful.
There are many hiking routes here. If not, there is a park south of Midreshet Ben Gurion, Ein Ovdat National Park. It is an oasis in the desert. If you want to ride a bicycle, there is a bicycle shop.
The desert is really dry, with plenty of water.
