Fabulous Food
Stopped off 1-40, exit 221 easy on and off. Complimentary queso, salsa and chips. Queso is light yellow, very mild. The salsa is fresh. They mix together well. Both are complimentary. J got pork...
Where THIS LAND began!
A fabulous little pocket park honoring Woody Guthrie, whose hometown is Okemah, Oklahoma. Woody signature is in the cement a block or so south.
Nice tribute to Woody Guthrie.
This I cute little patch of green in the middle of town. Its kept up by local volunteers. The picture doesnt due it justice. Great place to take pictures when visiting for Woodyfest!
Not much to see
I guess if you're a big Woody Guthrie fan you should visit. We stopped because we stayed in this town on a road trip.
Renewing old friendships
Ate a wonderful, filling, lunch at the Hen House. Went shopping. Drove around to explore the area looking at Old houses. Pretty neat town.
