    So much history

    Not a huge park but certainly one of significance.Close to the river and a lot of history including much on the Civil War which is probably of most interest to visitors.

    Quietly contemplative.

    We were on a boat, which stopped at Helena. The Freedom Park was at the far end of our hop on hop off bus tour. There is a paved route, which takes you to the various information stations and sculptur...

    Beautiful scenery

    There is lots of civil war history in Helena. We drove by many sites but spent time here enjoying beautiful view and great weather.

    Feel the history

    One of the reasons to visit Helena is the feeling of history - so much to see that takes you back a couple of hundred years - this gives you a strong feeling of the Civil War.
