I drove here specifically to explore this park's hidden beach—thinking it was just a forest? Wrong! Here, the blue skies and white clouds reflect on the water, and the trees lining the beach are a vibrant riot of color—truly soothing. The park is open year-round, offering a unique spectacle no matter the season, but autumn is definitely the peak of color.

🏞️ Highlights of Awenda Provincial Park:
1. A Beach Paradise: Many people may only think of it as a hiking and camping destination, but the fine white sand beach by the lake is truly beyond imagination! In autumn, the cool breeze, the shimmering water, the soft sand beneath your feet, and the intertwining red and yellow trees around you are definitely worth the drive.
2. Autumn Forest: Walking along the lakeside, the leaves are like an overturned palette, with layers of orange, red, yellow, and green cascading across the landscape, creating stunning natural images. 3. Scenic Trails: For a deeper immersion in nature, explore the park's many walking trails. Get up close to the lake, listen to the wind, and watch the birds—all while refreshing your mood.
