The Dallas Museum of Art is located in the art district of downtown Dallas, Texas. The new building was designed by Edward L. Barles, winner of the 2007 American Institute of Architects Gold Award. The Dallas Museum of Art collects tens of thousands of artworks from 3,000 BC to the present. The museum is also known for its flexible exhibition policies and well-recognized educational programs.
