    Frequented by locals

    This is a beautiful church in a busy part of Guadalajara. It is very ornate inside with a copious amount of gold gilding. This temple is popular with locals coming to worship.

    A gem in the center of Guadalajara

    The temple is not large, and is often closed to the public. On Sundays or feast days one can glimpse the interior, lush with gilding and decorative detail. A really beautiful church,

    Closed, but facade worth a look

    This historic church was closed, probably due to aa massive public works project across the street, but the carved 17th century facade was worth a photo op. The bell tower is especially noteworthy.
