I don’t know how to begin describing how incredible our New Year’s Eve 2014 at Goat Island was! We did our homework at the beginning, so we made an appointment very early in August. We took the ferry (the earliest class) at 6.30am. Glad we did it because it gave us an unparalleled view. You can see the fireworks completely and without restriction and the atmosphere was great at the time. The facilities there (including toilets etc) were also complete. We brought some picnic food, some wine and even a blanket to lie on! There were lots of other couples there, friends who came out to play together and other families on the island. It was the best New Year’s Eve I’ve ever had and it was well worth the money I spent. It also means we don't have to sit with other teams of people all day waiting at a free attraction around the city.

At Sydney Goat Island, enjoy the beautiful New Year fireworks Address: Sydney, New South Wales, Australia If you talk about the best experience in Sydney last year, it should be the New Year's fireworks on Goat Island during the New Year. Goat Island is located in NSW, the capital Sydney under Sydney Harbour, is one of the many islands of Sydney Harbour, within Sydney Harbour National Park, part of the park, covering a very large area, with 5.4 hectares, is the largest island in the Sydney Harbour Islands. Goat Island was previously used as a hardcore site for explosives, police stations, prisons and quarryes, and now it is finally part of a national park and fully protected. There are a lot of people here to watch fireworks in the New Year. After all, you can enjoy the modern urban beauty of Sydney's high-rise buildings at 360 degrees here. It is a good observation deck. Of course, if you go to the island, you need a tour guide to lead the team for group service. Because it takes a long time to walk, the safety factor will be higher. The tour guide will also explain to us some of the hard core history of Goat Island while leading the team. It is really a great experience. If you are visiting Sydney Harbour Park, you must visit Goat Island.
