Narayanhiti Palace Museum is more friendly to Chinese people. Tickets are 250 and other countries are 1000. It is not allowed to take pictures. It feels like there is nothing to take in it. Things are a bit like our 80s old, and they are not valuable.
You can’t take pictures of this classic, you have to store your phone and camera after entering the door. Tickets are discounted for Chinese passport holders at 250 rupees. It displays the daily life utensils of the royal family members in the past, and you can learn about the modern history of Nepal. The location is about 15 minutes walk east from Tamil (Dream Garden). Please note that the opening hours are very short, usually from 11 o'clock to 3 o'clock in the afternoon. It is closed every Tuesday and Wednesday.
The only regret is that photos are not allowed in the presidential palace! It is said that there is still an abdicated president living in it, so visitors are not allowed to take photos for safety. The presidential palace, which was abandoned after 2008, saw photos of Jiang Zemin’s visit to Nepal. Lao Jiang and his wife also lived in the presidential palace. Although the size of the room is not large, it looks exquisitely furnished. Worth coming!
The Royal Palace is the residence of the last king of Nepal. It is now the Royal Palace Museum. It has three floors and contains some furnishings from the reign of the king and many precious cultural relics.
