Tall totem pole
The Chief Johnson Totem Pole, also referred to as the Kadjuk Pole, a 17-metre pole is located in front of the entrance to historic Creek Street. It’s quite easy to see and is a good photo opportunity.
It’s nicely carved and painted but very tall so you have to stand across the street to get it all into a photo. This is a replica of the original Chief Johnson pole. We stopped to admire it on the way...
Hubby and I searched for this particular totem pole because we understand that this totem was used for the image in our passports. Look in your USA passport…same image on page 25 Great spot to star...
