Mount Tai / Taishan Steps and steps
We climbed Taishan in January the temperature was cold especially at the top of the mountain. We climbed the route from the Red gate/ Hongmen gate this took us around 2:45hrs to reach the top with some small breaks along the way. Once at the top there is load of great view points and options for food. There is around 7000 steps up to the top but then we got the cable car and the bus back down.#newyearadventure #mountainview

Mount Tai - Visiting area and mid point
#passionpassport
Besides historic relics, this mountain boasts unique natural scenery too. The lofty peaks, deep valleys, spectacular waterfalls, enchanting rocks and the centuries-old pines and cypresses will undoubtedly encourage you linger with no thought of leaving. The four wonders here are Sunrises from the East, the Sunset Glow, the Sea of Clouds and the Golden Belt along the Yellow River. It would be a great pity to miss the four wonders. We went there on New Year evening to see sunrise. It got very cold on the top so wear accordingly. #passionpassport #beautifuldestinations #travelinspiration #traveladdict

Aolaifeng Travel Recommendations for 2024 (Updated in May)
The flying snow sprinkles on the reeds like silver arrows, don't say the flock of geese falls
On the 20th, I went to Aolai Peak, Kiln Side, and Goose Flock Gully.
Sword peak angrily pierces the sky, accumulated iron pulls up a thousand ren; overlooking the ghost valley is secluded, next to the stalwart of the giant. Aolai Peak is sharp and layered, where the Red Eyebrow Army once stationed. The pines and cypresses stand tall by the kiln side, and the hundred-year-old ginkgo tree next to the sheepfold is tall and straight.
The gullies are crisscrossed, the streams are flowing, and the mountain roads are winding. Perhaps some people think that Goose Flock Gully was once inhabited by flocks of wild geese, but they don't know that Mount Tai is not an ideal living environment for wild geese, just because this gully is named Goose Flock Gully like a flying flock of geese.
It's snowing quietly again, deep in the forest, a stray black goat is giving birth, and the affection of licking the calf is touching.

Taishan Mountain Travel Recommendations for 2024 (Updated in May)
Taishan or Mount Tai is one of the sacred Taoist mountain. If you climb it, they say that you will live until 100 years old :) But i took cable car because it was too cold to climb for me, as we visited in winter. When we reached the top, it started to snow, making it really beautiful like in fairytale. At the top, there are some temples you can go, and look around for the view. I would recommend you to avoid winter though because it is always foggy and you cannot see a lot during this time #HalloTrip

After climbing Mount Tai, you can enjoy a tour around Tai'an
1️⃣ The first stop is definitely Dai Temple
There's a saying: 'Climbing Mount Tai without visiting Dai Temple means not knowing the source of Mount Tai; visiting Dai Temple without climbing Mount Tai means not knowing the depth of Dai Temple.' Dai Temple--one of the four major ancient architectural complexes in China, located at the southern foot of Mount Tai in Tai'an City, Shandong Province, commonly known as 'Dongyue Temple.' Dai Temple, along with the Forbidden City in Beijing, the Three Confucian sites in Qufu, Shandong, and the Outer Eight Temples of the Chengde Mountain Resort, are known as the four major ancient architectural complexes in China

💰: Individual ticket 20r/person (Mount Tai ticket includes Dai Temple)
⏰: 8:00-18:00
‼️Note: 1. Try not to take photos of the gods worshipped inside the temple, it's not very respectful 2. Try not to wear too revealing clothes 3. Do not make loud noises in the park, do not 'dirty' the exit, do not step on the thresholds, and be civilized when touring the park
2️⃣ The second stop can be Puzhao Temple
📍Address: No. 54 Hongmen Road, Taishan District, Tai'an City, Shandong Province, inside the Taishan Scenic Area
💰No admission fee, free scenic area. Take the bus and get off at Puzhao Temple stop
It's very close to walk, not suitable for playing, but good for walking and taking photos, remember to bring a friend who is good at photography. There are Buddha statues and places for prayers in the temple, where you can hang red ribbons and prayer boards, and ordinary incense is free. There is no admission fee, and it takes about half an hour to visit. There are no snacks nearby, it's quite remote.
3️⃣ The third stop can be Tai'an West Lake
This is the other half of Mount Tai, a 3.6 square kilometer water area like a green ribbon, winding and spreading in the western part of Tai'an. It's hard to tell whether the mountains are in the lake or the lake is in the mountains. After climbing the steep paths of Mount Tai and admiring the magnificent scenery, visiting Tai'an West Lake to feel the breadth and tranquility of the water makes the trip perfect~

Spring outing to Dai Temple
"The profuse branches make it easy for the flowers to fall in abundance, while the tender buds negotiate to bloom delicately." Suddenly, the spring blossoms have already bloomed in clusters, filling the branches. Inside the Dai Temple at the foot of Mount Tai, flowers such as purple magnolias, apricot blossoms, plum blossoms, winter jasmines, and forsythias are all competing to bloom, presenting a scene of vibrant purples and reds, a splendid floral tapestry.
Following the footsteps of the season, wandering through the temple, with the east wind guiding and the spring sun conveying warmth, a turn around, and you encounter the garden full of blooming flowers.

At dawn, the red gate shines with the sun, it seems that the ancients also liked to climb Mount Tai at night
Zhao Guolin, a Qing Dynasty poet, left a poem: 'Climbing the red gate in the early morning, the clear color brightens the morning sun. Looking down at the smoke of thousands of homes, the flat fields are all new green.'
The section from the Red Gate to the Middle Heaven Gate is located in the Zhongxi of Mount Tai, walking all the way in the valley, except for a nunnery and a few Taoist temples, there are some inscriptions by literati.
The persimmon cakes sold in Tai'an city taste good.
