Xinzhuang Wenchang Temple

Xinzhuang Wenchangyi is located in Xinzhuang District, Xinbei City, Taiwan, a temple dedicated to the emperor Wenchang, announced on August 19, 1985 as a three-level monument, and later changed to a municipality of Ding Monument. Wenchangyi was originally built on the right side of Xinzhuang Cixi Palace in 1813. The "Freshwater Hall Zhi" is recorded as one of the Wuwenchangyi of the Freshwater Hall. It was relocated to the current site in 1875. Xinzhuang has no Wenchang Temple. Later, Cao Yu, Jixian County, advocated the construction of Cixi Palace in Jiaqing 18 years (1813), because there are still remaining funds after completion. Wenchang Temple was built on the right side of Cixi Palace, and the statue of Wenchang Emperor was dedicated to the original set in Cixi Palace. Later, due to the small area of the original land, the first year of Guangxu (1875) county Fu Duanxu and the gentry Chen-style land, the Wenchang land was relocated to the current site, and the left side of Wenchang land was protected by the dragon as a "Chongwen Pavilion" for Yixu.
