Since I have always loved watching surfers on the nearby beach, I don’t think there is a better time to actually learn surfing. The museum is just a few blocks from the Oshinside pier. Premium tickets are free and only $3. It is a small museum space, well-arranged and interesting exhibition that shows the process of surfboards from traditional to boards to surfing or waves that suit any style. There was a wonderful video and visual presentation of non-traditional surfers, a very interesting exhibition that showed data collection along the California coast, showing how wind, temperature and tides can help predict the best surf time. I learned a lot. The lecturers are very keen to share their knowledge.
