A pleasant walk to Gaol point

This is a well looked after walk along the cliff to Gaol Point where there are very limited remains of the ruins but a great lookout.

Impressive

I was very impressed with this new development which lies behind Town Beach. A range of local flora has been recently planted along pathways which wind around the area.

Nice But Still Scope For Improvement

Back in 1963 this headland was described as a wasteland and covered in weeds. Apparently Mrs York worked to establish it as a floral reserve and this came to fruition in 1968 and the place was named ...

Worth a look

Only a small area now but worth the views. There are also a small number of graves as this was the original cemetry
