The Finnish Polar Museum is 2 kilometers away from the center of Rovaniemi, built by the river. Next to it is the Science Center. Going on weekends in summer, very few people. There are various polar animal models, the Komi people in northern Finland, which simulate aurora, and a room where the temperature can be adjusted to simulate low temperature. There is no Chinese in the introduction, but English is not a big deal. Overall it is good.

In addition to visiting Santa Claus in Rovaniemi, there is another place you must visit, which is the North Pole Center. Rovaniemi is located in the Arctic Circle, so the chance of seeing aurora here is very high. There are many aurora here. There are also exhibits of animal models in the Arctic Zone. A lot of knowledge can be learned here.
I came to the Polar Museum after seeing the aurora in Santa Claus Village. What impressed me most was the video of lying down and watching the aurora, just like looking up at the sky immersively. With intuitive feelings, let’s learn a little bit, so the solar wind, charged particles, geomagnetic field, funnel, aurora belt, and a little bit of fun.
Here you can get a very exquisite commemorative certificate of the Arctic Circle stamped by Santa Claus, and this center is also the best place to buy commemorative goods, there are many types, and there is a McDonald’s next to it.
The main thing here in the Arctic Center is to be able to see the Tropic of Cancer and the monument. The Arctic Circle passes through this small town, and here is the most meaningful memorial place. In fact, it is also a comprehensive tourist distribution center.
