Winchester Mystery House 🇺🇸
#timetotravel
The Winchester Mystery House in San Jose, California, is an architectural enigma that has fascinated me since my visit. This sprawling mansion, constructed by Sarah Winchester, widow of the rifle magnate, is a labyrinthine masterpiece of mystery and intrigue.
Exploring its 160 rooms, staircases leading to nowhere, doors opening into walls, and hallways that twist and turn unexpectedly, I was enveloped in a sense of bewilderment and wonder. The mansion's unique design, said to be guided by spirits, leaves visitors with countless questions and an eerie yet captivating atmosphere.
The beautiful gardens surrounding the house provide a serene contrast to its enigmatic interior. The mansion's rich history, including stories of supernatural occurrences, only deepens the intrigue. Whether you're a history enthusiast, a paranormal believer, or simply curious, the Winchester Mystery House is a must-visit. It's a journey into a world of architectural eccentricity and a glimpse into the mysteries of the human spirit.
Winchester Mystery House
Built by an eccentric woman for more than 30 years, the Winchester Mystery House is an architectural oddity that defies explanation.
It’s a gigantic, Victorian-style mansion with literally hundreds of rooms, windows, staircases, corridors and closets, but they don’t follow any kind of design.
The staircases lead nowhere. The doors are oddly shaped and spaced.
Many hallways are more like labyrinths than passageways in a home.
Some people say that its builder, a wealthy widow named Sarah Winchester, came unhinged after the death of her husband.
Others say that she was trying to confuse the ghosts of people killed by Winchester rifles; her husband was their inventor, and that’s how she inherited so much money.
Some people say that the house is still haunted to this day.
Regardless of the story that you believe, the Winchester Mystery House is a unique, must see destination in California.
If you’re looking for neat things to do in San Jose or the Silicon Valley area, grab your energy reader and go ghost-hunting in one of the most bizarre buildings in the world.

The Winchester Haunted House, which is probably the only one of the world's most famous haunted houses, is open to the public. With the release of the movie of the same name at the beginning of the year, there is a constant stream of visitors.
Winchester Ghost House is an elegant Victorian building in downtown San Jose, California. It covers an area of 24,000 square feet and has a mysterious and mysterious atmosphere during the day. The hostess Sarah was the rifle maker. After William invented the rifle, the only daughter who was born just married, and her husband, William, passed away five years later. Later, a wizard told Sarah that their family had been cursed by the undead because many of them were killed because of the rifle that the husband invented.
is not so much a haunted house as it is a wonderful work in the history of architecture, the windows on the ground, the stairs on the wall, the door leading to the nowhere... These brain holes are also unacceptable!
The trouble that Mrs. Winchesters life is a ghost is a conscience that has been tortured by guns to gain huge fortune...

San Jose Mariott Hotel
Beautiful, comfortable, modern high rise hotel in the center of San Jose. This was my first visit to San Jose and the Marriott Hotel. Needless to say, I was impressed with both! The hotel has a perfect, central location to numerous events, restaurants, shopping and entertainment options. My guestroom was very comfortable, quiet and clean.
I really liked the hotel. Very clean room. The bed is white and well ironed. Very clean bathroom, everything worked properly. Gym and swimming pool, bar. Very young, friendly and fast staff.
Great experience. Nice bed, nice gym, and nice staff. The lounge was good for eating/working (there's a long table with power plugs) with breakfast, dinner and dessert served daily, and you can get coffee there.
Location : 301 S Market St, San Jose, United States.

The tranquil life in downtown San Jose
As the morning sun rises, there are not many pedestrians on the streets, the ancient church narrates its own story, the fountain plays a gentle melody, and the ding-dong of the city rail takes away the busy workers. The small city has its unique charm...

San Jose | Silicon Valley
Driving all the way from San Francisco to San Jose. For the sake of time, I live around Sanford in the prior night and it is approximate a 45 drive to the Apple Park.
As a big fan of Apple, Apple Park is a must for me :)
📍I would say San Jose is a quite peaceful destination, especially compared to San Francisco, it is quite quiet. Probably I went there on public holiday. If that was a common working day, I bet there must be hustling as from the size of the building clusters, I know there must be tons of people.
No much to explore and just there for some spiritual belief. Lol
On our way back to San Francisco, we purposely choose the California state route 1. And there are lots of cars along the roads as well as tourists. Along the way, you can see there are many car parks and if you are interested into the scene, you can just stop by before heading to the next destination.
But I heard that the most attractive part is the way towards Los Angeles, I would definitely go there the next time!!!
