Arlington in wintertime after a fresh snowfall is a stunningly beautiful place. The soft blanket seems to hug the ground and lay gently upon the graves of the fallen. If you come on a weekday in the afternoon there will be few people. The silence and stillness add yet another lay upon the complex emotions one feels standing in the presence of such human loss.
