    Very interesting place

    Port Hudson is home of a Civil War siege when the first Black Union soldiers were used in combat and won.

    Beautiful

    Visited on a Sunday just before dusk. So peaceful and pretty. The building on site is historic and had been the caretakers home. Worth a visit. These cemeteries are always touching. And sad.
