天门山阶梯是一条长1420米的阶梯，共有9999个阶梯。阶梯的颜色由灰色变为淡黄色，形成了奇特的视觉效果。如果你站在阶梯的起点，就会看到很多人站在阶梯末端拍照留念，天门山阶梯建于公元1999年，耗资240万元。在修建过程中，由于天门山地形险峻，施工难度极大，因此施工队员们每天用了数次大力气才能推动一块600公斤重的巨石。

Shangtianti is located in Tianmenshan National Forest Park in Zhangjiajie City. Tianmen Cave is on the high steps. The Shangtianti is not only the way to reach Tianmen, but also the spiritual place to pray for blessing. Tianmen Cave is preceded by an altar of Tianmen, which is specially used to burn incense and worship heaven. Before and after the rain, the transpiration fog will swift from the inside out of the Tianmen Cave, forming a unique and spectacular "Heavenly spit fog".
