Happy Hostel Dubai

The hotel was really hard to find. It's inside a parking garage, and I initially missed that it's room 606. I was completely lost and had no idea where the hotel actually was (for those who need to know: go into the parking garage, then up to the 6th floor to find 606). There were a lot of foreign workers in the building. The bathroom hygiene was okay. I stayed in a female dorm room. The room had an odor, but it wasn't unbearable. It seemed like most of the people staying there were long-term residents, not just daily rentals. They stayed up very late, with their phones on speaker, making a terrible racket until 2 or 3 AM. Then, some people started waking up and opening/closing doors around 5 AM, seemingly with no regard for others trying to sleep. I probably only got about 2 hours of sleep. If you're looking to get some rest, avoid this hotel. However, the hotel is very close to the subway station and in the city center, which is very convenient.

Excellent hostel location. Right opposite the metro entrance and a bus stop. The hostel is situated in a residential building. You enter the building via the parking lot, and in the lobby, to the right, there's a door to the staircase. Go up to the next floor, and at the end of the corridor, you'll find the hostel door. I communicated with the manager via WhatsApp. The hostel has everything you need. I really enjoyed the small balcony where I could sit in the evenings, and there's also a terrace. They are very helpful and offer good advice. Very grateful for the hospitality!

Horrible place. First off, the entire floor reeked of an unidentifiable smell, and it only got worse. The bedroom itself was somewhat tolerable, but the bathroom was an absolute nightmare – filthy, stinky, and the entire floor was soaking wet and clearly hadn't been cleaned. No one greeted me like they do in other hostels. Some disheveled girl (after I asked other guests to help me find the administrator) pointed (I can't think of a better word) to a bunk, then went to sleep in the same room and didn't respond to any of my questions. This isn't my first hostel in Dubai, so I have something to compare it to – it's a 1 out of 10.

It would be even better if the bed sheets, pillowcases, and thin duvet covers were changed more often.
