HOTEL ARU KYOTO Sanjo Kiyamachi Do-ri

On the first night, the room was extremely damp, and I endured it for one night. I then switched to another room, but it was still unbearable, so I ended up checking out. The service was friendly, and the location was quite good, but unfortunately, it was just too damp. Perhaps it's time for a renovation.

The hotel is conveniently located near Sanjo Station, making it easy to get around. The area is lively, but the hotel itself is surprisingly quiet and peaceful. The room design is quite vintage, but the windows don't open and are covered with a frosted film, so you can't see the outside view. However, there's a lovely rooftop terrace where you can enjoy beautiful panoramic views of Higashiyama.

Not bad, good location, and the staff were very helpful. Breakfast was just okay.

I was very satisfied with this stay. The check-in and check-out process was efficient and quick, and the staff were gentle and polite. The room was exceptionally clean, with no strange odors, and the mattress was just right, ensuring a good night's sleep. The hotel's location is excellent, very close to commercial areas and transportation hubs, making it convenient for getting around and finding food. The infrastructure is complete, with stable hot water and smooth internet. Overall, it offers fantastic value for money, making it perfect for both business and leisure travelers.
