During Chinese New Year, for a hotel costing nearly 2000 a night, the entrance was filled with the smell of Indian curry, and all the restaurants downstairs were Indian. The hotel is conveniently located about a 5-minute walk from Little India MRT station. Hotels are expensive during Chinese New Year, and for 2000, this hotel was super small. I booked a deluxe twin room, but when I arrived, they gave me a king-size bed, explaining that no other rooms were available at that time and I would have to wait.

We arrived at the hotel at 4 AM. The front desk staff was very nice; they didn't receive my booking due to a system error. Although they didn't speak Chinese, they upgraded our room and called a duty colleague who spoke Chinese to explain everything to me. They even gave us complimentary breakfast. Since I was traveling alone with two kids, I felt a bit unsafe staying in the Little India area, even though the hotel was very friendly. There were just too many Indian people outside when we left. There's an S7 convenience store downstairs. We weren't really used to the hotel's breakfast, but the toast with chocolate spread was decent! The hotel also offers currency exchange, and it's very close to the Little India MRT station!

The hotel's surroundings aren't the best, located in the Little India area. I felt a bit uneasy entering and exiting the hotel, especially late at night, though that's not the hotel's fault. During check-in, the front desk seemed to have a different idea about my booked room type, but they proceeded normally once they saw I was firm. Breakfast options were average, enough to fill you up though. The room was a bit small and felt cramped.

Really not bad, especially the pool. Facilities: Very good. Cleanliness: Decent. Service: Not bad. Environment: Okay. Cleanliness: Good. Overall, it's pretty good and very convenient. The only thing is that the hotel hallways are extremely long, you have to walk for ages.

Pros: The twin beds are 1.2 meters wide. It's located in Little India, surrounded by Indian people and shops. The room is clean and well-maintained. There's no peculiar smell in the hallway or the room. They satisfactorily accommodated a two-hour late check-out. It's conveniently located at the intersection of two metro lines, making transportation easy. Cons: Being in Little India, the nearby temples, shops, and gold stores are bustling with Indian people from morning till night.
