Out of the three hotels we stayed at during this trip, the Fairmont truly surprised us. The beautiful grounds reveal thoughtful design and high-quality details in the hotel furnishings the more you explore. The rooms are spacious with stunning views. The family-friendly room even had a baby potty, showing incredible attention to detail. I highly recommend the Fairmont's family suites.
The Western buffet offers great value for money, and the Chinese restaurant provides a beautiful and tranquil setting. The hotel also caters to travel photography needs, making it convenient, practical, and time-saving. Listening to the waves on the beach is incredibly relaxing. The evening fire dance performance was spectacular, and our baby was completely captivated.
The kids' club offers a wealth of activities. Two days wasn't enough to experience everything; we should have added an extra day! Our baby absolutely loved the golf, pottery, paper airplane making, 7D cinema, bubble party, fish catching, boat rides, bonfire experience, playdough, and stickers. The design and planning are very thoughtful, making it our top choice for a family-friendly hotel.
Regarding service:
1. Our butler, Niko, contacted me early to provide hotel information and was incredibly attentive, even arranging a late check-out which was very helpful. Thank you!
2. The front desk staff were super friendly and, seeing we had a baby, surprised us with an upgrade to a family room.
3. All restaurant staff were very considerate and thoughtful.
4. The outdoor area of the kids' club was exceptional with the children, showing patience, meticulousness, and flexibility, always prioritizing the kids' happiness. One evening, my baby and I were temporarily separated in the garden. When I returned, I saw the young lady responsible for beach activities accompanying my baby to ensure safety, which was very touching.
5. The only unpleasant experience was at the Butterfly Pool. Around 4:30 PM on the 30th, I was helping my baby out of the pool after using the in-water stroller, preparing to leave. A middle-aged man in light-colored work clothes, neither thin nor tall, wearing sunglasses, and with dark skin, approached us and said the stroller required scanning for use. I told him I had already scanned it, but he kept talking nonsense, delaying me from dressing my baby, who was shivering from the cold. He even pointed at my baby and said, "Look how cold this child is." I felt harassed.
6. At check-out, a doorman helped with our luggage, which was incredibly thoughtful. I used the pool multiple times, and all other staff members were wonderful.
Overall, the Fairmont Hotel remains an absolute five-star-plus family-friendly hotel.
