Capella Hanoi

There was a dirty tissue left by the previous guest in the corner by the bedside table (see photo), which was disgusting and instantly made me lose trust in the hotel's hygiene, making everything feel unclean. This is a hotel costing over 6,000 RMB per night, not just any other five-star hotel in Hanoi that charges 1,000 to 2,000 RMB a night. As for the service, the staff didn't smile and had a very cold attitude. Ctrip stated that Chinese-speaking service was available, but in reality, there was none. Ctrip listed breakfast as ending at 11:00 AM. We arrived at the restaurant at 10:20 AM, and service was already winding down. The next day, we had to rush to get there before 10:00 AM. Apart from the unique interior design, it doesn't feel like a luxury hotel at all.

The experience was good, though I arrived late for check-in and no one greeted me upon entering. However, the subsequent experience was great. The hotel breakfast was delicious, and the staff were very friendly. I'd definitely stay here again next time I visit!

Unbeatable, completely blows many other major brand hotels out of the water. Flawless service, flawless decor, and an unbeatable breakfast. The rooftop bar is especially amazing—great drinks and you can smoke cigars, too. It makes you just want to stay in and never leave. Hotel lovers can book Capella Hanoi blindly without a second thought!

Created wonderful memories with my husband for our anniversary. Flew all the way to Hanoi specifically to experience Capella. Huge thanks to the hotel staff for their care and quick service response, especially for helping us book the Hudson Room. Even though we ran into a heavy rainstorm and couldn't explore Hanoi much, the afternoon tea and happy hour at the hotel were fantastic. The breakfast on the second day was also very rich, and the pho is definitely worth trying.

The Capella is a magnificent addition, painting a vibrant splash of color on an otherwise dull Hanoi. Each room is uniquely designed. The free-flow champagne and oysters at breakfast truly show their generosity. The only minor drawback is the small pool; there's only one shower room for the pool area, and the drain wasn't very effective, leading to water overflowing everywhere.

A beautiful setting that combines a comedic style, giving you the feeling of living in a theater. The small entrance reminds me of the Grand Theatre in Shanghai during its heyday, but inside it's a whole different world. The service matches the price.

This was my first time in Hanoi, and I was so grateful to the Japanese restaurant staff at this hotel. One of the women there translated for me in Japanese and kindly shared a lot of helpful information about Hanoi, which made my trip very enjoyable. I'm truly thankful. The food at the Japanese restaurant is absolutely delicious, and they also have an à la carte menu, so I highly recommend it. The room's concept was inspired by an Opera House actress, featuring a wonderful and artistic Art Deco interior design with meticulous attention to detail. I definitely want to visit and stay at this hotel again. The hospitality and service truly impressed me, living up to its 5-star rating. Thank you very much.
