The Grove Resort & Water Park Orlando

Initial thought is the resort is beautiful. Staff is friendly, helpful and quick to respond. The room was beautiful, modern and spacious. Waterpark itself is okay for me, I've been to better. The spa is really small but I wanted my husband to experience his 1st spa, so for him it was the best and didnt want to leave. The massage therapist was immaculate. Food and drinks were okay. Tried to kayak but motor was down on their boat so couldn't do any of the lake activities per staff just incase someone gets lost they wont be able to come get you. Con of the trip was not knowing when you get there you'll pay additional parking and resort fee plus deposit. No lake activities except fishing at the pier. Overall it was a good 1st time experience there.

Great place with everything you need. Plenty to do & very nice rooms. The halls & parking garage are very misleading, feels more like cheap motel but then you find a beautiful room & well maintained amenities.staff was very nice & accommodating. Was able to do early check in & late check out due to flight times ($). Really enjoyed our stay!

There is no sound proofing in this place. You can hear everything at all times so if you want to rest after a long day in the parks this might be a good place for you. When we arrived all the dining options were closed and the property is far from any restaurants so you might want to bring some groceries.

Beautiful resort however we had issues that I felt took away from the cost to stay here. TV didn’t work. The dryer in the laundry room of the suite (a deciding factor to book here) did not work) and we had to purchase clothes as we packed light thinking we could do laundry. The master bath was not cleaned or stocked with toilet paper. In addition, the floors were filthy. The soles of our feet were black after a few minutes of walking around so we kept shoes or sandals on at all times.

The property grounds were great! It was very family friendly. The condo itself was lacking in cookware. There wasn’t one fry pan or anything to bake with at all. I paid for a superior 3 bed 3 bath condo with a water view. The water view was of the fountain out front. Otherwise no water to be seen from our room. That was disappointing. Other than that it was a great stay.

It was okay. Dinner at the restaurant was pretty bad - slow service and mediocre expensive food. Housekeeping took an extremely long time to deliver items. And the layout of the facility is a bit odd having to walk through garages to get to the waterpark and signage limited.

My room wasn’t cleaned properly. Saw crumbs of chips under my bed. The bed side tables were dusty. Kitchen was missing paper towels and washer and drier were both unclean. Lazy river was not cleaned. I hope they add showers inside changing rooms.

Wow what a huge let down. This place looks so nice and is portrayed as this luxurious getaway.It is SO not! Apparently the check in time is not actually the check in time like it is with every other hotel/resort I’ve ever stayed at. Instead here, the check in time of 4 PM is the earliest time that check in can start. Your actual check in time is when they have a room to give you which was an undetermined amount of time and for most it appeared to have been hours later. You get zero consideration unless you complain. The staff at check in are extremely rude and have a horrible attitude. We were basically charged our resort fees and rushed off. No welcome or explanation of the resort map/amenities, nothing. We had to complain to get a room and were hoping we could just move in and enjoy our vacation, we were wrong. Our room was filthy. Every surface was covered in a thick layer of dust. Under the dust were old leaky cup marks. The cabinets throughout were splattered with god knows what, mirrors dirty, everything just dirty. We were in disbelief. Then we hear a beeping sound and realize the smoke detector is taken apart and hanging from the wall. I go in the kitchen and look down to find a puddle of sudsy water coming from the dishwasher the cleaning staff started. We leave the maintenance guy in the room to work on everything and finally get back only to get in bed and find that we have no fitted sheet and have to sleep on an exposed mattress which is likely nasty. Gross!
