Inmejorable ubicación en plena calle Corrida de Gijón, comercios, cafés y cerca del mar y de todas las atracciones turísticas. La atención es amable por parte de todo el personal, la habitación era para 3 personas y estuvo cómoda, camas confortables, nada de ruidos, lencería de cama extra. Hay calefacción pero no la usamos. Agua caliente, todo ok, la limpieza excelente. Las habitaciones tienen caja fuerte, la nuestra no tiene minibar pero en recepción tienen bebidas para cargar a cuenta, de verdad un muy buen hotel. Desayunamos fuera, pero hay salón de comedor y ví a los huéspedes comer. ¡Volvería a quedarme sin dudas!

I stayed here in mid September 2023 as a lone traveller. It just so happened that it was unseasonably warm this year. I was intially placed in a small room overlooking a courtyard with a ceiling fan for air-conditioning. I was not expecting this as I requested in advance for a room on a lower floor due to mobility issues. I received no response to my request and was in fact placed on the 4th floor. The lift broke down on the day I arrived but was fixed within a day. I was kindly placed in another room within a couple of days. Unfortunately this room had no air- conditioning at all. Consequently I had to keep the windows open throughout the evening, which allowed the mosquitos to get in. I was bitten several times but was supplied with some spray by the hotel.
The breakfast was a basic continental one, with the usual ham, which was fine if you ate pork, but if you did not, it meant a carb-filled cereal, toast and cake every morning.
Apparently the hotels around here do not have tea-making facilities or fridges.
I liked that the staff were friendly and the hotel is close to all amenities. The hotel could do with a little updating to make guests more comfirtable but the staff tried their best to accommodate.

Fui con mi amiga y mi hijo. El hotel Castilla está bien, aunque necesita una reforma, mano de pintura, las camas son más bien incómodas te incas los muelles y para los altos sacas los pies. Lo bueno k tiene es la ubicación estás al lado de todo. Y el desayuno es bueno.

Estancia fantástica con la familia en diciembre. La localización del hotel es inmejorable y las instalaciones perfectas para una estancia con familia en el centro de la ciudad. Jesús, el gerente, es profesional y servicial y está pendiente en cada momento. Altamente recomendable! Gracias.

Réception H24 sur une rue piétonne mais avec place de parking pour déposer les bagages et réduction pour le parking publique souterrain. Hôtel un peu daté mais propre et pratique avec un bon emplacement (rue commerçante, 10min des plages et de la vieille ville). Bon rapport qualité/prix
