A colleague and I stayed here for just one night, during a business trip in the area. Suffice to say that I’d love to return for a holiday weekend. It’s a small, privately owned hotel. My room was simply but beautifully decorated and furnished, and was comfortable and pristine. The hotel is fairly remote, so a car is a necessity to get to restaurants and bars. We went to a restaurant called La Prada, about 2km from the hotel, which was fabulous. The surrounding countryside is truly breathtaking, and I say that as someone who spends a fair amount of time climbing hills in the Scottish Highlands and the English Lake District. Hotel Il Crinale is a real gem, and the staff went above and beyond to ensure our short stay was perfect. I have no hesitation in wholeheartedly recommending the hotel to anyone who visits the area. What a great wee place. Beautiful. Serene. Welcoming. Perfect.

UNBELIEVABLE experience! First of all the drive up to this hotel is breath taking!!!! Mountain upon Mountain view’s all around you. Tranquility is the theme in this beautiful town only 20 minutes to Bologna! As we arrived to the hotel the owners happened to be outside chatting with their neighbors. They welcomed us with a huge smile and Ciao!!! They are a lovely husband and wife team. We took the elevator up to our room and it was stunning. Mountain View, spotless, and the bed and bedding was superbly comfortable. Then in the morning we were greeted with another huge smile and welcome. We sat at the breakfast table and they brought over homemade cakes and amazing meats and cheeses and coffee and juices!! Needless to say we’ll be back. We’re so incredible happy we found this gem in the mountains. Coming from the United States…. It was a dream to live “la dolce vita!”

We resumed making a stop at the ridge to go from Rome to the Dolomites and, in addition to the fresh air and the Apennine landscape, we found new management and renovated rooms. Giusy, a very kind and affable Sicilian, manages the hotel with care and personally prepares the desserts for an excellent breakfast. Clean rooms with pleasantly decorated walls, large bathroom. And for those wishing to stay more than one night, there are many opportunities for trekking and unusual visits such as the Rocchetta Mattei castle.

Hotel moderno, con soluzioni interessanti di decorazione delle pareti. Bell'ascensore . Camera molto spaziosa con finestra panoramica sui colli. Bagno ben attrezzato, ma privo di luce sullo specchio. Buona colazione con scelta fra dolce e salato. Servizio gentile e disponibile.

Abbiamo soggiornato per una sola notte in questa struttura. La persona che ci ha accolti è stata molto gentile, sorridente ed affabile. Camera pulitissima e luminosa. Bagno grande e finestrato. Colazione essenziale. Ci è piaciuto.

Ottima base di partenza per visitare la Rocchetta Mattei con la famiglia. Ascensore, camera accogliente, letti comodi e un bagno incredibilmente spazioso con doccia comodissima anche per chi come me ha qualche problema di deambulazione. Titolari sempre cordiali e disponibili, pronti a servire un'eccellente colazione anche a chi ha problemi di celiachia. Peccato solamente che nel periodo in cui ci siamo fermati noi non era disponibile il servizio cucina per pranzo e cena. Tuttavia a 50 metri dall'hotel potete trovare la simpatica trattoria Pina, un locale senza troppe pretese ma con cucina semplice e gustosa ad un prezzo decisamente conveniente.

Ci siamo fermati in quest'hotel solo una notte, per spezzare il viaggio dal Trentino alla Toscana. La signora dell'accoglienza molto cortese e disponibile. Camere pulitissime e moderne. Abbiamo dormito molto bene perché il materasso era comodissimo. Però preferirei che avessero la colazione a buffet, invece che servita. Ma sicuramente lo consiglio!

L’unica nota, se proprio devo farla, è la mancanza di kit di cortesia nelle stanze (a me sarebbe servita una cuffia, per dire, ma mi sono arrangiata senza problemi). Per il resto tutto perfetto: stanze spaziose, fresche, pulite. Colazione degna e torte veramente buonissime (soprattutto quella al cioccolato). Proprietaria disponibile e gentilissima. Prezzo stra-onesto. Senza dubbio lo consiglio
