Basic but what you need is there
for 2-3 days' business trip. Bed, shower,
restaurant. Nice park nearby, go left
from the hotel. You can go for a run or bike
ride. Decent breakfast and
dinner (extra paid). Helpful staff, they speak English.

Because booked through ********** you get a B room, 3th floor, no fan when 30C and windows cannot open because of heavy traffic and noise untill 02:00 am, traffic start at 05;30. Complaining at owner useless as we should have booked directly. Shamefull! At check-in no info about location room and no ventilation, very concentrated on money, guest is not important. Afterwards calling me in the car that my CC was invalid (had to pay 2x coffee) not waiving this as compensation, eager to get money, as my CC is valid it was again an internal mistake. Was second stay, never again.

Hotel is located on very busy road in Gronau. Between 02:30 and 05:30 it is quiet with traffic. If you book through Bookings or Hotels, you get a B-room on the second floor at the front. According to the owner, there is a choice between A-rooms and B-rooms, checked is not true. Last week it was 30 degrees, windows open at the front is impossible because of the noise. No fan in the room. When complaining that it is impossible to sleep like this, untruths are told. Hotel is very focused on money and the guest is secondary. Written complaint (email) sent, no response. Dramatically bad.

In einem kleinen Stadtteil von Gronau liegt dieses familiengeführte Hotel. Mein Zimmer war ausreichend groß und das Bett sehr bequem. Die Einrichtung ist einen Ticken älter, auch im Badezimmer, aber alles noch in Ordnung. Die Hellhörigkeit zum Flur ist wie so oft in diesen etwas älteren Hotels leider gegeben. Das Frühstück war ausreichend. Am Hotel gibt es auch kostenfreie Parkplätze.
