Excellent location, decoration, equipment, good treatment from the receptionists. Very big and comfortable.
But I chose to pay upon arrival so that they would not charge me taxes on my credit card and they decided unilaterally without prior notice 7 days before arriving to charge me the entire stay. When I made the claim, their response was that due to "internal policy" they could do so, generating unforeseen expenses for me.
The wifi is not the best, it cuts off after 10 minutes and you need to reconnect.
They provide complimentary water and wine, which is greatly appreciated and I would choose them again if they didn't charge my credit card without consulting me.

Awesome stay. Staff are very friendly. The hotel is accessible to all - tourist sites, stores, souvenir shops and plazas. Will surely recommend this one.

Great location, plenty of bars/restaurants nearby, easy access to the Old Town etc. and the excellent nearby market. Had a great meal at one of the restaurants on the first floor of the market. Front of house was superb, explaining in great detail where to go/not to go, all set out on the map. Extremely friendly at all times.

We initially booked for 2 nights but liked it so much we stayed a 3rd. Very clean and tidy complex located in the heart of Porto downtown.
Little annoyances like 1 roll of toilet paper we had to buy our own same with extra coffee pods otherwise truly happy with it stay.

We liked the property, it was nice and clean, we have even little bottle of delicious wine was complimentary in the apartment. It was conveniently located in the center of the city. Apartment was nicely equipped with all kitchen utensils, linen was excellent.
Cones: mattress wasn't comfortable like in these level hotels, shower cocking needs to replace, it was detached from the wall and all molded.
Overall is great stay, friendly personal, Paulo was waiting for us for late arriving, even their schedule was until 19:00.

The staffs at the property were nice and helpful, Leo welcomed us nicely. A special thanks to Andreia who helped us smoothly picked up our rental car which was booked online couple months before our trip and failed to give correct information about pickup location. Almada Wine House is in a great location, close to the train station, restaurants, and the historic city center. Checking in and checking out was easy, and the staff was able to accommodate our needs, and answer questions. Our room was very spacious by European standards, and the small kitchen area was nice to have.
