Enough electrical outlets to charge two iPhones at night. Good breakfast with scrambled egg choice on the buffet. Hallway carpets are worn. Location was good. There is a parking area on the hotel property with several spots and we were lucky to park in one of the last spots at 17:30. Our window overlooked the train station rail yard, which was not a problem for us, because it is better to hear romantic trains during the night than the random acceleration of automobiles on Viale Giorgio Pallavicini. No problem sleeping with the trains. The double bed was plenty large.

After arriving in Ravenna via train, we attempted to find a Taxi to get us to the cruise port. With no luck after almost an hour, we walked to the Hotel Italia where we where received by a very friendly gentleman manager who went out of his way to assist us. He personally took it upon himself to arrange a Taxi for us and within 2 minutes one arrived. What great service considering we were not guests of the hotel. Clearly service is still a value at Hotel Italia.

The staff were extremely friendly and helpful, and went out of their way to suggest the best visiting routes for sights in Ravenna. Rooms are simple, but more than adequate. The proximity to the train station is a plus.

The hotel is old and a little dated but clean. It is close to the train station which for me was an advantage and a short walk to see all of the historic parts of Ravenna. The pillows were very thin and the shower was a little small. Overall it was an okay hotel and nothing terribly wrong with it but a little over priced for what it was.

The staff was friendly and very helpful. The room was clean and air conditioned. They had a small elevator but we were thankful since our room was on the 4th floor. The hotel was very close to the train station which was convenient although you could hear the occasional train pass by in the night. The neighborhood was a little sketchy. Overall the stay was very good and a good value.

The Hotel Italia is close to the railway station, and is also a convenient walk into the centre of Ravenna. The hotel itself is comfortable, clean (good Covid measures in place) with a good breakfast, and a very friendly and helpful staff. They also have some bicycles for guests - we used the bikes on two days; a pleasant way to travel around Ravenna, seeing sights, and getting a feel for the city.
