Everything fine. Restaurant service a little slow. Drinks excellent. Restricted menu due to unidentified “technical issues”. We would have been better off going out to dinner somewhere else. We would recommend, overall.

Very disappointed with the service in this hotel. We are staying here for nearly two weeks and the staff at the reception is quite rude when we have an issue like not enough water bottles in the room (they gave us two instead of 4 when we are two adults and two children); phone not working; very small duvet to share for two children; .The children sleeping on the sofa bed have only one very narrow duvet to share and we asked for a second one but the next day it was removed. Our phone in the room does not work therefore we couldn’t call the reception. There is a loud ventilation sound coming from the bathroom which started on the second day. It doesn’t appear to be the A/C as it does not work either. Camille at the reception is very pleasant and polite, so is Yassin. But the rest of the team at the reception is quite rude and instead of telling us they will find a solution or apologize for the mistakes made by the cleaning ladies or issues we have had in the room they decide to argue with us and they say this is your version I don’t have the one of the staff. This type of attitude coming from a manager is even more disappointing. Not professional at all and makes us feel uncomfortable. A manager should not argue with customers but instead make them feel welcomed, safe and understood. The lady in charge at the restaurant in the evening was having a go at the waiters in front of us customers and laughing out loud at their mistakes, sighing in dispair at them. All in front of us. Very very unprofessional. Two of these waiters, very polite and kind to us seemed to be learning and were doing well it seemed, at least they were professional and polite, unlike their supervisor who was diminishing them in fromt of people. Really put us off our meal. One receptionist, a young woman, who did help us with our duvet issue, hardly greeted us when we entered the hotel in the evening. This is a 4 star hotel and very surprising behavior from the staff. She also made the entire reception stink of what seemed to be a humidity issue with clothes. I told her about the smell, unpleasant when you enter the hotel, without realizing the odor actually came from her. She is human but it shouldn’t really happen in a 4 star hotel, when you welcome clients. This morning the actual manager told me his colleague at the reception did not have time to tell me to see my issues with him as she had many other customers to deal with. She could have politely told me, Madam I don’t have to capacity to help you now but I will make sure the manager reaches out to you. This is high season, so there should be more than one person at the reception or at least have the clients directed to the manager immediately for these kind of situations instead of rebuffed rudely. When I asked to have the contact of the direction of the hotel, the manager told me and that after shouting at me down the phone and arguing with me, that he could not provide me with that information and I should write to

Great hotel - with a really good restaurant. We cycled in and were looking forward to the spa. Sadly the pool was freezing - I did have a paddle which earned me claps from the other guests who thought I was mad! There was bicycle storage but the standout was the restaurant, pretty good menu at good value. Staff very helpful and the room was great - and being an Accor member meant I got a free drink in the bar!

We stayed 2 nights while visiting Normandy. Very nice hotel, looks new and we had an upgrade to a lovely room. Big television and coffee machine certainly a plus. Parking very near the hotel and special price for hotelguests. All convenient. The restaurant however was very bad. The guy in charge unfriendly and unwilling. I had to return the beef skewer because the meat was too tough. Instead I asked for a tuna skewer but that was even worse. Also my partner’s food was bad. Serving this kind of food in a 4 star hotel is surprising. When we left the hotel next morning my husband returned the luggage trolley to the front door. The manager got very angry at my husband ( 82 years of age) that he had to put it left of the door and not to the right even when there was enough space. Management?

A one night stop off on the way south from the ferry at Roscoff. ideal stop-over after about and hours drive, giving just enough time to have some cool beers and a lovely supper on the terrace outside the hotel. A real gem with underground parking and direct access to the front door of the hotel. The rooms are smart clean and comfortable and the staff were warm and welcoming. What more can you ask for. - Will stay again if passing.

A very nice hotel and excellent service. Rooms are very luxurious and the staff are amazing. Special thanks to Ashik in the restaurant. The set dinner menu with different dishes every day is a nice way to finish off a busy day, and can just chill at the outdoor seating in the evening sun.

Set only a mile or so off the main east-west road on Brittany’s north coast, we’d often fancied visiting the port area visible from the road and booked a couple of days here. The hotel itself is stunning, set in a converted barracks, with its main entrance overlooking a large well designed square below which sits the main public car park which can be accessed from both front and back. A real bonus. The room was by common consent one of the best we had ever stopped in. The restaurant was good quality, which was fortunate as St Brieuc seemed devoid of them. It was also very civilised to get an early evening drink outside on the square. I wondered who might choose to stop in St Brieuc, which is undergoing major regeneration work, as the town centre will detain you for a couple of hours at best. The hour long stroll to the port (take the upper route through town rather than the bottom route through the woods) is very scenic and shows a smart end of town. The port itself was a very pleasant stroll with a drink at the end. Well worth half a day. In short, if you have to be in St Brieuc or choose to break up your journey, you must stay here. If you choose to stay here, I’d suggest a couple of days absolute tops in the town, although you’d be well placed to visit St Malo and other towns.
