Really beautifully located in old town. Wetzlar has a beautiful cathedral just three minutes away by foot. Learn about Goethe and his life and love in Wetzlar. Eat at Landsknecht restaurant at Kornmarkt.
Lovely people at reception. Parking is along the streets for free.

Das Hotel liegt nah am historischem Zentrum. Das ist auch schon der einzige Pluspunkt. Die Zimmer sind nicht gerade sauber. Spinnweben an der Decke, Teppich ist fleckig und Bad geht gerade so. Personal insgesamt macht einen überforderten Eindruck. Ein Gegenleistung für den Verzicht auf Zimmerreinigung bei mehrtägiger Belegung wird auch nicht angeboten. Man kann nur hoffen, dass sich schnell etwas ändert.

Es gibt keinen Zimmerservice, angeblich fehlt dazu das Personal. Wenn man frische Handtücher möchte, muss man das melden, dann werden saubere ins Zimmer gelegt, die schmutzigen bleiben im Bad liegen. Es werden keine Betten gemacht und nicht einmal die Mülleimer geleert. Wir waren 3 Nächte in diesem Hotel. Lage ist gut, Innenstadt fußläufig zu erreichen. Kein Restaurantbetrieb tagsüber und abends. Wenn man abends mit Freunden zusammensitzen möchte, kann man sich vor 22 Uhr ein Getränk aus dem Kühlschrank nehmen. Nach 22 Uhr ist Schluss. Frühstücksbüffet gibt es.

Die Lage ist perfekt, am Rande der Altstadt und direkt neben der Stadthalle. Wir hatten ein sehr schönes Zimmer mit Balkon und Blick ins Grüne. Die Betten waren sehr bequem. Das Personal war supernett. Das Frühstück war sehr lecker. Kaffee bis zum Abwinken. Wir hatten Halbpension gebucht. Aufgrund von Personalmangel mußte das Essen in einem naheliegenden Restaurant eingenommen werden. Es war wirklich nicht weit und auch das Essen war top. Uns hat es sehr gut gefallen und wir kommen bestimmt wieder.

Es war eine einzige Enttäuschung!
Wir wurden einfach ohne Rücksprache in ein "Historisches" Schwesterhotel umgebucht.
Es hiess man hätte uns per E-Mail informiert. Dabei kam die E-Mai 6 min. Nach dem Telefonat. Das Zimmer war alt und Muffig und wurde als Superior vekauft was ein Witz war.Nur durch massive Reklamation und gutem Willen der Rezeption drs Schwesternhotel bekamen wir ein anderes Zimmer wad aber auch kein Superior war aber zum selben Preis. Es hiess Sie seien überbucht ( was gesetzlich nicht erlaubt ist).
