checked this church out while touring the town. Some great history inside and out of the building. It is a different feeling one gets when seeing all the bullet holes on the facade of the church.

It was a very hot day when we visited Andernach and we were happy to find this church open and decided to visit it and spend some time in its shade although we saw so many churches in previous few day...

Mariendom is a compulsory visit if you pass by Andernach. This city is part of the Rhine Castle Route and this site is a "must" for anyone who passes through there.
