Friendly Efficient Theater

Clean, friendly, efficient theater. The bar serves beer and wine at reasonable prices, is well-staffed and efficient, and accepts card payments (some older reviews mentioned a token system). The event we attended was general admission (no reserved seats). Get there early if you want standing room right up front near the stage or in the better seats of the balcony. Both filled up quickly. There is now a restaurant associated with the theater right nextdoor (aRoma - to the left of the theater) that served two dinner options (one was vegetarian). Entrees were 28 EUR, came with a starter, and were quite good. Dessert is optional and alcohol is available. Dinner w/ dessert took about 90 min. We made reservations and were glad we did - the restaurant was packed. The neighborhood looked a bit sketchy, but leaving the theater at about 23:00 on a Saturday night there were people everywhere and we didn't feel uncomfortable. There is a tram station nearly right at the theater and taxis are readily available (taxis can be easily summoned with the taxi.eu app).
