The Schoenbrunn Palace is the Viennese residence of the Austrian emperors and one of the most important architectural structures of the Austrian Baroque. The palace and park ensemble includes a huge park and the palace itself, here you can visit the oldest zoo in Europe, as well as the botanical garden and the labyrinth, admire fountains and other garden and park facilities. Visitors especially like the Palm House and the Glorietta Pavilion. The palace and its gardens are included in the UNESCO World Heritage List. The first mention of the building that occupied the site of the current palace dates back to the XIV century. It was an estate with the name Katterburg, it was owned by the Klosterneuburg monastery and included a residential building, a stable, a watermill and a garden. In 1569, the Habsburgs became the owners of this place. There is a legend that Emperor Matthias, hunting in 1612, witnessed the "beautiful springs" (Schöne Brunnen), it was thanks to this moment that the palace acquired its current name. At the same time, by order of the emperor, a well was installed here and a hunting lodge was rebuilt.Emperor Ferdinand II and his wife Eleonora Gonzaga, great fans of hunting, Schoenbrunn was chosen as a place for the court to go hunting. When Ferdinand died in 1637, his widow began to live in the castle, giving it the name Schoenbrunn.

There are a lot of paintings in the beautiful palace, and I even saw Monet's work! ! Unfortunately, the time is limited. We rushed to the airport. We only bought tickets to the beautiful palace. It took an hour or two to visit the beautiful palace.

High up over Salzburg you get an amazing view over the city and the snowcapped mountains on the other side. The panoramic tower you get an amazing 360 view. Unfortunately I was walking around inside when the weather was clear, and when I finished the fortress inside, which was very interesting btw, it started to snow heavily and we couldn't see very far on the tower. Also the ticket only allows you to go into each attraction once so make sure you go up the tower when the weather is good.

Go there for the beautiful garden outside with all the amazing sculptures. Need to know, a scene from the do-re-me song from the movie The sound of music was shot there. You also get an amazing view of Fortress Hohensalzburg. It says it's free to visit the palace but there's really only one staircase and a small room you can see and it's not marked out. I think it's mainly used for concerts. It's still worth a look especially the staircase with all the sculptures.

Salzburg, Austria's second largest city, is a true city of music, home to Mozart, and we visited the Mozart Ancient House and Sculpture Square, where children often host music-related activities.

The Pestsaule Black Death Column is located in the center of Vienna's Graben Avenue, the largest baroque "Black Death Column" in Europe. The plague ravaged Vienna in 1679, killing almost two-thirds of Vienna. Later, in honor of the victims of the plague, the Austrian emperor Leopold I ordered the construction of the Black Death column. The exterior platform of the column depicts the creation of the world, the epidemic of the Black Death, and the final supper. The pillar shows the emperor taking off his crown, half kneeling on the ground and praying to God to protect his subjects and under the guidance of angels, the saints bring down the Black Death of the incarnation of the witch. The inscription reminds the world not to forget the punishment God has brought to the city.

The golden roof was built in 1500, a late Gothic-style building, in honor of Maximilian I's engagement. Maximilian I commissioned Nicholas to convert the dilapidated pick-up building into a Gothic-style palace box between 1494 and 1496, where he could see the competitions and theatrical performances in the square.

The famous musician Mozart is from Salzburg, and the people of his hometown built Mozart Square in memory of him, which has a statue of Mozart, not far from his former residence in the grain alley. The photo was taken last year when he went to Austria.
