Disappointed
Went for an afternoon in Bakewell as we were staying at Alfreton. Pretty place but completely tourist overload. Around 3.30 the place starts shutting down, the cafes were ceasing taking new customers ...

Interesting.
Interesting house that highlights the history of the building and the surrounding area. The volunteer was very helpful and enthusiastic and the museum was packed with artefacts.
Wonderful relaxing visit.
Really friendly volunteers, parking space for about 2 or 3 cars (blue badge only) next to museum entrance. One toilet on site. Lots of things to look at in a small house over 2 floors. £6.50 entrance ...
