Camping in the Huron-Manistee National Forest was heaven sent! It’s remote, quiet, private and beautiful with large sites for RV’s or tents. No electric or water hookups. Situated along Lake Michigan ...
Gorgeous Springs..worth the 300 stairs!
First time at this fresh water springs in the forest. Very good spot for natural light photography. It is 300 steps to the bottom but it's worth it if you want a beautiful natural Forest experience....
Wildlife that hides
The Huron-Manistee forest is a vast area that has many remote locations for sightseeing and many not so remote areas that offer more marked and groomed trail situations.
Excellent place for Information
Staff was very helpful discussing bears and other animals and rules for driving on National Forest trails.
