Stayed in Chiangkhan River green hill resort just a 10min drive from resort. Was advise by receptionist to leave at 6am so as to catch Sunrise view at the highest accessible peak via vehicle. You need to park vehicle at public carpark. Entrance ticket is 40baht then take a official pickup shuttle to the peak advise to wear winter clothing as during Dec till Feb is chilling. The view from peak is amazing overseeing Mekong river and the mountainous Laos border. It's a must tour itinerary if visiting Chiangkhan, Loei.
