beautiful and away from the masses
Take the Green Line bus out to Komi park on the southwest side of Lake Kawaguchi to get away from the masses of people, and enjoy a nice view of Mt Fuji. There are separate sides for those with dogs...

In the park in front of the roadside station, you can also walk along the promenade along the lake from this park. It took about 20 minutes to reach Asama Shrine.
Adjacent to the roadside station Katsuyama, there is also a large lawn plaza facing Lake Kawaguchi, so I stopped by for a break for a drive with a dog. The pet priority zone and the pet prohibition zone are divided, so you can walk your dog with peace of mind. You cannot see Mt. Fuji from the park.

I visited because it was a meeting place for trail runs. It was a beautifully maintained park with a nice view in front of Lake Kawaguchiko.
