Temple of the Otani school of the Shinshu sect
About 25 minutes walk from Gujo Hachiman Station. There is an entrance to the precincts on Honmachi-dori. The year of its founding is unknown. A temple of the Shinshu Otani school. Converted from the Tendai sect to the Jodo Shinshu sect in 1662. Renamed the current temple name in 1738. The principal image is Amida Nyorai. The mountain gate, the main hall, and the bell tower are all wooden copper plate-roofed. The main hall has a wife, and a statue of Shinran saint stands in front of it.
Officer's office
It is a temple of the Jodo Shinshu Otani school in the craftsman town of Gujo Hachiman, a castle town. It blends in with the old townscape and you can stop by while taking a walk.

This temple is located near Chokeiji Temple, walking through the craftsman town and Kajiya town. It is called the Shinshu Otani school. There is also a bell hall. It's not a very big temple.
