A rare Buddha statue
Original Text
The first hall to welcome you is small and simple, but the Buddha statue is bigger than I expected and is very old and spectacular. The temple ahead is also a rare Buddha statue and has a daunting face.
It is less than a minute walk from the north exit of Hadano Station on the Odakyu Line to the end point of bound for Uge (also bound for Yabitsu Pass). After passing through the mountain gate where the statue of Nio stands, the main hall and the book were opened in spring. Until a few years ago, there were large ginkgo trees on the left and right in front of this gate, but now they are cut down and refreshed.
The Hadano Minoge Culture Association supports it.

The restoration of the Buddha statues, which are designated cultural properties, is proceeding, but there is still a shortage of buildings and cultural properties preservation environments. Let's all see and cheer up. It is full of highlights such as Niomon, Dainichido (Gochi Nyorai statue, Holy Kannon statue), Fudodo, Enmado (Juo statue), and Konishi Shonin Irijakuchi. You can guide you to volunteers. In 2019, it will be released at 9:00 ~ 3:00 of 5/5 6/2 7/7 8/4 8/16 (13:00-20:00) 9/1 10/6.
Very old hall. I went there because there was an event called Enma pilgrimage. Go up the old rattling stone steps, go up the Niomon gate where Nio-sama is located, the statue of Dainichi Nyorai, the statue of Gochi Nyorai, and the Fudodo, and the Enmado in the back is opened to 8/16 at the end of the Bon Festival. Go according to it I saw it. It is said that the soul who came to the human world in Obon returns through the lid of the hell kiln. Maybe it's because it's a very old temple from the Nara period, or it doesn't cost money to repair, repaint ...
Dainichido is one of the temples managed by Horenji Temple. There is Niomon in front of Dainichido, and Fudodo, Chayuden, Mitake Shrine, etc. are in the back. The atmosphere is very good. There was no one because it was not very touristy.
