The simple mountain gate is the highlight
Original Text
Access is not bad because you can walk from Hatano Station. The mountain gate, which is said to have been from the Edo period, is an important cultural property, but it is a little different from other important cultural properties, and it is not luxurious but simple and tasteful.
I stopped by because it was on the hiking route from Mt. Gongen to Mt. Kobo. It is 7 or 8 minutes from Hadano Station on the Odakyu Line. Meitokuji has an old thatched-roofed gate built in the early Edo period. The mountain gate is called Yakuimon, which is rare nowadays, so it would be nice to see it. The precincts are not so large, but I went to 12 early in the month, but the autumn leaves still remained and the quiet and calm atmosphere was good.
