    　If you go east from the main street of former Karuizawa, you will find Suwa Shrine surrounded by a guardian forest. When you enter from the torii gate of the shrine, you will see the shrine with many large trees. In addition, there are seven sacred trees. It seems that the shrine itself is a designated cultural property.

    Suwa-sama is located near the Karuizawa Kai, a tennis court where His Majesty and his wife met. Even though it was Karuizawa, it was a fairly large shrine, and the shade of the trees was cool even in the summer. He is a member of Suwa-sama, which is over 10,000 companies nationwide, and is wonderful.

    I went to the fireworks display at Suwa Shrine. I think there were more than 10 stores in the local summer festival. The door of the main hall was removed, so I didn't know where to visit, but it was next to the turret where the dance recital was held. It was a local festival, so it was lively with many children, middle and high school students.
