    Great building

    Great that they save buildings like this in Otaru. In this street there are more old buildings like this one, some of them with extra information about the history on the walls.

    We were staying across the road and every time I walked past I thought that is a nice brick place. On further investigation I found out it is indeed one of the few brick ware houses ever built in Ota...

    A red brick building on Nippon Bank-dori in Otaru. It is one of the historic buildings designated by Otaru City. Built in 1890, it is a four-story building. It is a building with beautiful window frame decoration and red bricks. It is now used as a restaurant.
