Was amazing loads of good information with the kind man Steve who showed us around the museum and told us loads of information i definitely recommend this to familys and the history of Redcar
Decent
This is just about the only decent attraction in the town of Redcar, free to enter is a bonus. Gives a history of the town and its people. Plenty of old photos and postcards.

A gem of a place full of fascinating history of not only lifeboats but Redcar itself. Looks deceiving from outside as it looks like there just the oldest lifeboat in world on display, but there is so ...
Sea history at its finest
This museum is free. It is packed with history, where ever you look. The centrepiece boat is very well kept. The staff are very knowledgeable. This is great place to visit.
Definitely worth a visit
Lovely place to visit, nice helpful and friendly staff. Very interesting regarding the local area and the famous lifeboat.
