It is a temple of the Soto sect along the Motomura Kaido (currently the road 273 Hanabe ～ Sapporo Line), which was the only road connecting Sapporo and Ishikari River during the founding period from the Meiji period. According to history, it was opened in the neighborhood in 1897, and it seems that the main halls have been maintained since it was relocated to its current location in 1890. In the flat precincts, there are a mixture of modern RC structures and a wooden main hall, bell tower, 500 Rakando, Toyokawa Inari and Rokujizo, but among them, Aun Nio is standing.
