Zhengyingcun

Zhengying Village is located by Chirui Lake, Baoxiu Town, 10 kilometers west of Shiping County, Yunnan. It has a history of more than 600 years. In the ancient village, there are three streets and nine alleys named after their surnames and geographical environment. There are 403 quadrangle courtyards in the whole village, and 28 of them are well preserved. The well-known buildings in the village, Chen's Ancestral Hall and Zheng's Ancestral Hall, are large in scale. The woodcarving craftsmanship of the building decoration is exquisite, and the carvings, calligraphy and painting all show a high cultural level. Zhengying Village is surrounded by mountains and rivers, with picturesque scenery. The ancestral halls, pavilions, schools and typical residential buildings in the village combine the majestic pagodas and ancient temples, the majestic palaces and temples, the exquisite pavilions and pavilions, and the quiet and elegant classical gardens, forming a unique historical and cultural feature. Zhengying Village is called by construction experts as "the museum of Chinese Ming and Qing residential buildings".
